It is easy to see why we should be practicing daily but did you know that we can also support our practice by making wise choices with the foods we eat?

The aim of this “Food for Yoga” Workshop is to open your eyes to the types of foods you should be eating and why.

Yoga is a wonderful discipline for the body. It raises the core temperature. In hot yoga the temperature in the studios can often reach 40°C and the body will quickly release toxins through the largest organ, the skin, by sweating. However, this can also cause a loss of magnesium, potassium, sodium and other essential minerals, all of which will need to be replenished.

Your investment in this workshop will teach you how to nourish your body intelligently and with love. You will discover recipes to honour and support your body.

I’ll be showing you my favourite juice and smoothie recipes for yoga recovery and I will demonstrate some of my favourite, easy to make recipes. You will be creating your own perfect bliss balls in no time and you get to take them home and enjoy. It’s the perfect snack to feast on before or after class.

You’ll get a deliciously tasty lunch included which will boost your energy levels and leave you feeling full of energy rather than ready for a lie-down. I’ll also be introducing you to some of the key ingredients I use in my kitchen and explaining why they are so important. At the end of the day you’ll be able to purchase your own ingredients so you can carry on creating your own beautiful food at home. You won’t want to leave without them.

The Workshop is limited to just 8 participants and will run from 11am – 4pm. Eating well has never been so fabulous!

What's included?

  • 5 hours of hands on tuition and demos with raw food expert Mimi
  • A delicious lunch made with fresh and organic ingredients
  • Recipe sheets to take away
  • Your own hand made nourishing bliss balls to take home
  • A selection of the superfoods as used in my kitchen will be available for separate purchase; so you can carry on creating your own special foods at home.
