INTO is a series of courses that will enable you to grow your employability skills, give you a experience working with an organisation and get a head start in the creative sector. FITD is an opportunity for young creatives to build a legacy in the creative and cultural industry in Birmingham.

INTO Design With Urban Hax is a 10 week course designed to encourage creative thinking and design essentials including software, presentation and testing skills.

You don’t need any prior experience, just the will to get stuck in and an open mind!

This course happens every Tuesday, starting from the 9th January and finishes on the 13th March 2018.

This course is free but an application form must be completed. Applications are open now until 18th December 2017 at 4pm.

About Urban Hax

Urban Hacks is a non-profit hackerspace established in the Black Country. Its mission is to build a community of makers, tinkerers, innovators and hobbyists who come together to share their knowledge, skills and crafts with other members of the community. Our goals are to build upon the knowledge of others, establish a creative space where people can come together (young and old) to nurture the basic human desire to make, and give access to tools and equipment that aren’t commercially available to the public. Through talks, classes, workshops, collaborative projects, and other activities, we want to encourage research, knowledge exchange, learning, and mentoring in a safe, clean space. We promote collaboration across disciplines and build on the knowledge of our members and industry qualified staff to make community ideas and projects into a reality.
