The relationship between football and business is well known - or is it?
Business is to make money and football destroys money. This recession has seen a slew of clubs in poor financial condition, just ask Rangers or Portsmouth fans.
BUT IS THE RELATIONSHIP REALLY STRAIGHTFORWARD? What about the companies who pay millions of pounds for shirt sponsorship or the naming rights for stadiums, do they get value? And what happens to the money? How much of it goes to players and what do they really do with it?
This panel discussion will enable you to debate your views with some of Britain's greatest football/business minds.
The event is a must for all those interested in sport, business and the two together, especially those who ultimately pay most of the the money - the fans.
The panel will be Sue Bridgewater (WBS), Gavin Megaw (ex-Football League), and James Aughterson (Woking FC) who will be adding a financial and non-league perspective to the debate and Steven Falk (ex-Manchester United and now on assignment at Chelsea FC) .

Warwick London Alumni Network (W.L.A.N)
The Warwick London Alumni Network (W.L.A.N) was formed in late 2009. We develop relationships amongst members and offer a balanced programme of business-oriented and social events for alumni and others with connections to Warwick and WBS.
The aim of the group is to build on the work of the Corporate Relations Team to create an identity & meeting place for London based Warwick graduates (both University & Business School).
We seek to encourage graduate engagement by organising interesting and fun events and other initiatives so that they too may give something back that will benefit the wider Warwick graduate community in London.
Don't let the Warwick experience end just because you have graduated ;)
