'Memories F.C.' Public Knowledge Exchange Seminar
Following our first successful event in November 2011, we are hosting another free public seminar at Hampden Park Glasgow on Thursday 31st May 2012.
We are looking for mental health students to attend this event, to use it as an educational event and also represent the University by supporting the seminar participants by acting as guides and helpers.
We are hosting an event for people with memory problems or dementia, who have already undergone football based reminiscence; their family member / carer, professional carers, practitioners and activity co-ordinators.
This time we will host smaller group activities.
(1) Another opportunity to have fun and share footballing memories with other fans.
(2) A guided tour of the Scottish Football Museum
(3) A 'walk' down the Scottish Football Hall of Fame
(4) A mini stadium tour
By registering for this event you are agreeing to attend and help with the pre-seminar preparations (from 10.30am-4pm) and then act as guides and helpers to the seminar participants. You will also be able to attend the educational element of the seminar programme.
We will contact your mentor and you will be credited with practice hours for the days attendance.
Want to attend? What we ask is that you are identifyable by wearing a Scottish Football shirt. Talk to your friends and family if you dont own one.
OK so if you are sure go ahead and register by clicking on the Register button
