Message from Tony Sharkey, Football Transfer Forum Owner

"I was delighted with the way the 3rd edition at the Etihad Stadium went. I am starting to believe that the format and structure of the Forum is almost there.

Once again I'd like to thank our host Ryan McKnight and our terrific speakers (listed above). I think the conversational style and opportunities for questions from the floor added to it. They really do provide invaluable knowledge to take away.

We have decided to do two Football Transfer Forums this season. This one prior to the January transfer window and then another before the summer transfer window gets into full swing.

I was also delighted to get some football clubs from abroad sending their club representatives to the Forum. It would be great to host more club officials particularly from those countries whose winter transfer window is the main one.

However, the key aims of the event remain the same - insightful speakers, a good blend of top companies and genuine networking opportunities in a non-pressurized and professional environment. There is also a full programme of Premier League fixtures in the North West at this time.

With the winter transfer window just around the corner, the Football Transfer Forum is the most cost-effective and enjoyable way for real football people to do business."
