Hands up who wants to join us for a light hearted fun networking event based around a new phenomenon called footgolf.
7:30am - Arrive and enjoy tea/coffee and bacon baps
7:45am - Penalty shoot out (opportunity to present yourself and your business)
8:00am - Kick-off (out onto the Footgolf course in groups of 4's)
9:30am - Extra-time (back in the clubhouse to carry on networking or head off)
10:00am - Final Whistle (Finish)
Networking can be a bit stiff, dull and too formal.
Let us introduce you to a whole new way to really network with other like-minded professionals, whilst having a bit of fun and a bit of a challenge.
Participating in a sport whilst making new business contacts has been a proven model for successful businesses, just take golf for example.
WHO IS THIS FOR:
Here is your opportunity to achieve the same level of success, but in a sport that anyone and everyone can play.
Every business is welcome, and ideally you'll have a senior position within your business.
Playing footgolf is as easy as walking. Everyone is capable of kicking a football.
If you've never played it before, then perfect. This really is for everyone, male or female, active or lazy, short or tall, little or large.
As long as you can walk, we can make this a whole lot of fun, whilst in the good company of other businesses.
Guaranteed to be lots of laughs and giggles, and a good level of 'banter' should be on display from everyone of our networking events.
WHAT IS FOOTGOLF:
The aim of the game is to kick the ball into a hole with a flag in it, in as fewer attempts as possible.
Far far far easier than playing golf, yet it follows the same scoring and rules as such.
- Doesn't take all day either, so we will be done within a couple of hours so not taking too much time out of your busy schedule.
- Nowhere near as stuffy as playing golf
- Great way to spend time with other like-minded businesses that are equally wishing to have some good fun whilst networking.
HOW DO I PLAY:
Dont worry about that part, just as long as you can walk and attempt to kick a football we will help you with the rest. We will play in groups of 4's or 5's depending on numbers, so you will have a good opportunity to get to know those in your group.
Please wear clothing that you feel comfortable in, this can be loud and bright, or subdued and sophisticated, the choice is yours. You'll need a comfy pair of trainers to wear as a pair of high heels may get stuck in the grass. Wearing of a tie is not required, but feel free if thats what you want to wear. Mid Sussex, has fantastic facilities and state of the art changing rooms with showers etc, so you are more than welcome to change into business attire after playing.
Our first innaugral Footgolf FA Networking event will take place at 7:30am on Friday 5th May 2017.
This will be the start of a monthly networking event that will spread nationally over the coming months, enabling you to join in on other groups in other parts of the country to increase your networking opportunity.
