Description

‘Starting Something New in a Traditional Church Setting’

(Pioneering out of an inherited context)

Saturday 18th November: 9.30am -2pm

St Mary’s Church, Church Drive, Orton Waterville, Peterborough

Research shows that ¾ of Fresh Expressions of Church develop within an inherited context (Church Army Research Unit, 2017). Therefore, this event is to connect together those seeking to pioneer new things out of a traditioanl setting in a 'Blended Economy' of Church. It is for anyone in the Peterborough area who would call themselves a pioneer or who is thinking of starting something new in their context. It’s a chance to meet others who are local to you, and to expand your thinking with other like-minded people. We look forward to seeing you! The event is free including a simple lunch which will be provided. If you would like to find out more or if you wish to let us know about any dietary requirments you may have, please email mission@elydiocese.org

This event has been organised by ecumenical denomintions across Peterborough.
