About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
Join us for an intimate conversation with Avs - DJ, photographer, graphic designer, and Hounslow-born creative who's turned "creative chaos" into her superpower. From studying filmmaking at university and screening at Cannes to building creative arms for PR agencies, this multidisciplinary artist has navigated the corporate world, freelance life, and everything in between - all while spinning tunes for Rinse FM, BBC Asian Network, and Lost Village Festival.
We'll talk about embracing uncertainty as a creative force, transferring storytelling skills across industries, and taking the leap from corporate safety to freelance freedom. Expect honest stories about the challenges of breaking into film, the pivot to graphic design, and how DJing by night balances designing by day. Plus, discover what it means to work with purpose - from rebranding agencies to uplifting community organizations and charities like Taraki.
Whether you're stuck in a creative rut, considering a career pivot, or just trying to figure out how to navigate multiple passions without a traditional plan - this conversation is for you.
P.S - There will be FREE snacks & drinks!
