For the Fallen - Fundraising concert for BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine).
The award-winning Pegasus Chamber Choir will be performing music and poetry to commemorate the centenary of the commencement of the First World War. The programme includes choral works by Holst, Reger, Ravel, Gurney, and Rachmaninov alongside poems by Sassoon and Owen performed in the beautiful and historic 18th Century Guy's Chapel.
We are also delighted to announce contributions from two BAPAM patrons. Actress, Sheila Reid (Brazil, Benidorm, Dr Who, among many film, TV and theatre roles) will read poems by Vera Brittain and Anna Gordon Keown. Broadcaster, Zeb Soanes, familiar from BBC TV and Radio, will lend us his tones to help host this evening's events.
Ticket sales will support the work of BAPAM - a unique not-for-profit organisation providing vital support to performing artists affected by physical and psychological health issues. A proportion of the proceeds will also be donated towards the upkeep of the Chapel.
