Come and celebrate the bounty of autumn at our "For the Love of Harvest" event at Wolf Fields Nature Reserve.

Learn about how to adapt our eating habits to help reduce our food-based carbon emissions. Enjoy picking and tasting delicious seasonal produce while learning about the vital connections between growing food and nurturing a climate resilient planet - come savour the season with us!

Rev. John White from Hazelnut Community Farm in Bristol will be providing hands-on learning. He will demonstrate various creative ways to grow your own fruit and veg! You can come, pick and eat, as well as bring and share anything edible that you may have grown in your own garden or church land.

More about Hazelnut Community Farm

Hazelnut is a small community farm in Bristol, inspired by permaculture principles. They support churches in creating eco communities on their land, in order to deepen worship, welcome their community, and combat climate breakdown.

We are holding a series of inspiring events under the theme "For the Love of..." as we come together to learn how we can build climate resilience through gardening, sustainable food growing, and community action. Celebrate nature and the power of collective impact while learning practical ways to adapt and thrive in a changing world. Each event offers unique opportunities to connect and take meaningful steps towards helping our communities become climate resilient.

The Small Print

By attending, you will also be invited to join our online forum specifically for these events. You will learn skills you can put into action in your home, workplace and community, and the forum will be a place to add questions, share ideas, photos, stories. It's a space where we will also share upcoming events for further training and encouragement.

We want to be able to track the effectiveness of the skills you will learn. We will therefore send all attendees a brief questionnaire in October 2025, April 2026, and April 2027 to find out more about what actions you have taken for climate and nature where you live, worship or work.
