FOR THE LOVE OF THEATRE: BEMBRIDGE - 7 MILES
Following the theme ‘For the love of Theatre’, a talk about Little Bembridge Theatre will end our walk after exploring the Harbour, the Causeway, the Duver & the lifeboat station.
This walk is part of 3 walks themed ‘For the love of theatre’ to show different aspects of the lives of theatres.

Little Bembridge Theatre is a lively am-dram group who performs at Bembridge Village Hall
2. For the love of theatre – Shanklin – 13/05/24
Shanklin Theatre is now a thriving theatre after been saved from demolition.
3. For the love of theatre – Ryde – 16/05/24
Ryde Town Hall is a theatre in need of saving
We will explore the best of Bembridge including the Harbour, the lagoons,the marshes, the Causeway, the Duver and the RNLI boat station. Please note that the Causeway is a narrow path with water on both side.
At the end of the walk, we will stop for well-deserved refreshments at the Village Hall where a member of the Little Bembridge Theatre will give us a short talk.
Length of walk: 7 miles (approx 5.15 hours)

Walk Cost: Voluntary donation requested but not obligatory - Donation to the Friends of Shanklin Theatre will be very much appreciated.
Type of Walk: Circular
Pace of Walk: Brisk - This walk will follow a brisk pace.
Walk grade: Moderate - Varying landscape with more challenging slopes. Stiles and steps to be expected en route, suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active.
Mobility level: Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
