Description

Years 9 and 10 Opportunity

After 2017s extremelly successful pilot of our Car Crash Careers Day, we are excited to announce that this years event will be on Wednesday 6th June 2018.

This event is designed to give students an insight into studying a range of subjects at university and the reality of the day to day experience in each career. We will prepare a crash scenario and then lead students through fun and interactive sessions where they will collect evidence, treat the injured at the ‘scene’ and go through the legal process to ensure justice prevails.

The event has been assembled with both academic and vocational sessions for those interested in the Public Service based careers of emergency responses at an incident and those who wish to use their argumentative abilities to solve a case and prosecute the perpetrator.

For your information, currently involved in the event are:

  • Paramedic Science
  • Adult Nursing
  • Mental Health Nursing
  • Engineering
  • Fire Service
  • Psychology
  • Sport
  • Social Work
