About this event

Immerse yourself in the art of basketry while experiencing the rejuvenating effects of sound. Join us on October 12th in Whitchurch, Bucks, overlooking the Chiltern Hills.

Anna Schofield, forest bathing guide, artist and drum circle facilitator and Michele Smith, sound therapist, are collaborating to bring you an immersive day of craft, sound and nature.

We will begin our day with a grounding meditation and sound scape to allow you to settle into the land. We will then learn to identify plants that can be used in basketry and create a small basket or coaster using foraged plants.

A light lunch and homemade cake will be provided and you are welcome to bring a small dish to share.

Baskets can take up to 5 hours to complete but there is no rush and you can take a break whenever you wish to enjoy the beautiful land and views.

We will conclude our day with a seated sound bath led by Michele followed by an energising drum circle led by Anna.

There are limited spaces for this retreat day so do book early to avoid disappointment.
