Description

Foraging in the Wild Workshop with Richard Mawby Saturday 19th May 2018 10am until 4pm

Due to the success of 2017 Spring and Autumn Workshops we are please to be welcoming Richard back to the estate for another informative, fun and exciting experience of foraging in the wild.

Wander through the vineyard as Richard points out all the edible plants which could make a healthy addition to your diet. You’ll be encouraged to enjoy the pure and natural flavours of freshly harvested plants as Richard introduces unique flavours you can weave into your meals. By the end of the session, you should be able to confidently identify several edible wild plants and will go home with lots of ideas to try in your own kitchen.

Based in Northampton, Richard follows a primal ideal, reconnecting with nature and thriving on locally sourced wild animal products, foraged plants and raw goat’s milk. He explains: “Foraging is a great way to re-learn the connection we once had with the wild, to be at one with your surroundings, experience nature and to re-tune with your instincts. This workshop is a practical, hands-on approach to dining from nature’s pantry and the vineyard couldn’t be a more perfect location.”
