Come join us for a relaxing, sensory experience at Bluebell Woods, on Oak Road in Partington. Forest bathing is about using all your senses to connect to nature. The invitation this month is find a sit spot, a special spot you choose to stay in to fully experience everything the woods have to offer.

Forest bathing is great for mental health, blood pressure, breathing, attention problems and overall wellbeing. It can also be a great way to meet other nature lovers in your local community.

Our guided forest bathing session will help you to connect with the nature around you. We will provide you with something to sit on and provide a supportive experience for you to enjoy the healing benefits of the forest.

How do we find you?

Meet guides Heather and Kirsty on Oak Road next to the park. There's a small entrance to the woods. They will be wearing hi-vis vests. We will all gather by the entrance and the find a spot in the woods together.

How do I get there?

We advise you to walk, cycle or get public transport to our events if you can. The 247 and 255 buses go through Partington. There is street parking on Oak Road if you drive.

Are there toilets?

There are no public toilets at this location, sorry.

Is this event disabled accessible?

The paths in this woods would be tricky for a wheelchair. Walking aids could be used with care. Take care if it has been raining as the paths can get slippery.

Is this a family event?

If family members can be mindful, they are welcome.

What if it rains?

Forest bathing is an all weather activity, and we will go ahead unless the conditions pose a risk to the event. Wear sensible shoes for walking and bring waterproofs and layers for the weather. It can still get chilly even when we're sheltered by the trees.
