Balancing evidence for parents: Deciding what to believe in a world full of conflicting messages
Breast-feeding, nutrition, exercise, screen time, educational interventions: for parents wanting to do the right thing for their families it can be difficult to know what to believe. Join our panellists to discuss the questions that you can ask when faced with conflicting or new advice and hear their top tips on how to assess evidence. Panellists include Anthony Warner - author of The Angry Chef, Rebecca Asher - Deputy Director Sense About Science, Dr Ruth Dobson - St George’s Hospital and local parent.
This event is part of the Forest Hill Family Festival, delivered by The Parents' Network: SE London in partnership with Elliot Bank and Kelvin Grove Children and Family Centre and funded by the Forest Hill Assembly.
