Your Local Group Needs You!
The FSA and the FSA Norfolk Local Group is led and managed by a passionate group of volunteers who believe in the power and potential of Forest School as a transformative process for all involved.
There are currently a number of vacancies on the steering group and we are looking for enthusiastic FSA Norfolk members to stand and be part of leading and shaping the group. The steering group members will be elected on the day to a maximum of 9 elected members (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer & secretary plus 5 others, one of whom needs to be a current student of a FS qualification).
Part of the AGM is electing the steering group - potential members will be asked to introduce themselves, explain why they would like to stand and a vote will take place by show of hands.
The steering group oversee the groups activities, they have extra meetings, coordinate & promote events, manage the online facilities of the groups FSA webpages, manage a small google website, Facebook & twitter site to communicate with others, link with other relevant networks to represent FS in Norfolk - Norfolk County Council, Norfolk School Grounds Group, Norfolk FEN etc
If you think you can help out - Please consider being part of of this growing group and keep the FS fires burning brightly in Norfolk!!! We have to do this together!
