Join us for a farm visit to Fieldfare CSA at Balmakewan Farm, where you can meet Rose and learn about local food growing and production. Afterward, we’ll prepare and share a meal made with seasonal produce.
This visit is part of a series of activities aimed at developing resilience in communities and building a sustainable local food system. We’re collaborating with Growers & Producers, FoodLink NE, and The Hutton Institute to connect people with locally grown food.
To encourage commitment to attendance, tickets are by donation to secure your spot. If cost is a barrier, please contact us at natalie@thehaven.co.uk, and we’ll arrange a place for you.
Any donations received will help support others in the community. Generous funding allows us to remove financial barriers, but spots are limited due to space requirements.
