About the author

Professor Louise Arseneault is Professor of Developmental Psychology at the Instittute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPNN), King's College London. In December 2016 she was appointed to the role of ESRC Mental Health Leadership Fellow; as part of her Fellowship she will champion the role of the social sciences in mental health research, and provide intellectual leadership and strategic advice on how social science research can best address the challenges that mental health poses for our society, communities and individuals.
