Fort Victoria History Walk

Join Fort Victoria Country Park's Ranger to explore the history of this once impressive Victorian fortification. Enjoy a gentle stroll around the buildings and country park and find out about some of the more hidden relics left here.

Length of walk: 1 mile

Walk Leader: Anita Matheson

Walk Cost: Payment required: £3 each or £5 for two. Cash on the day please.

Type of Walk: Circular

Start / Finish location: Meet outside the Rangers' Office at Fort Victoria (next to the toilets), Fort Victoria, Westhill Lane, PO41 0RR, grid reference - 4339 0898.

Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.

Walk grade: Easy - Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps.

Mobility level: Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
