About this event
It's back! Brave the Forth Rail Bridge and abseil to end youth homelessness.
On Sunday 28 September, do something different and sign up for the Forth Bridge Abseil. You'll be led by experts up the Forth Rail Bridge where you will free-fall abseil 165ft down to the sandy beach below, and enjoy an incredible experience and day out.
On the day you'll arrive and register before getting your harness fitted and listening to the safety briefing. Then, you'll ascend the bridge ready for your abseil!
We ask you to pledge to raise £180 and will provide you with all of the support you need in the run up to the event, including fundraising tips and stories from the young people that you will be supporting.

Frequently asked questions
You must be at least 18 years old to participate, and be under 18 stone/114.3kg. There is no minimum or maximum height requirement.
Yes! Please encourage friends and family to cheer you on - there will be designated pedestrian areas to keep everyone safe.
There will be an official photographer who will photograph you mid-abseil, and photos can be purchased from them at their sales trailer at the RNLI building. Prices are included in the Event Participant Pack.
Yes! There are lots of places for coffee, cake, and lunch for you and your fan club afterwards on South Queensferry High Street.
Inclement weather does not usually prevent an abseil from taking place - however in the event of high winds, the organisers will text you to let you know.
