Forum Theatre Event: Exploring Black British Experiences
Wed 19 October 2016, 17:30 – 19:30 BST
** Celebrating 25 Years of CERES **
Please join us for an interactive evening at which University of Edinburgh students use Forum Theatre as a catalyst to uncover and challenge injustice and discrimination.
Forum theatre is a unique form of theatre that transforms spectators into actors by enabling them to step into, and change, the theatrical action encouraging debate and asking questions so that an audience can learn collectively.
This event is a partnership between the Moray House School of Education, the Centre for Education for Racial Equality in Scotland (CERES), ACTive INquiry and the Edinburgh University Students’ Association Black and Minority Ethnic Liberation Group.
This event is aimed at students, activists, practitioners, researchers and everyone with an interest in race equality and social justice.
Refreshments will be provided.
