Energy Technologies Research Institute Lecture

Our invited lecturer, Darren Gardner from E.ON, will speak about "Forward to zero - rising to the challenge of decarbonising cities by 2050 whilst increasing inclusive economic growth.”

Darren will talk about the needs of cities, exploring trends and the challenges faced. He will discuss ways of reducing carbon emissions, while growing the economy and providing social value.

Speaker Profile

Darren Gardner, Strategic Account Manager, Smart Cities & Public Sector, E.ON


Darren has worked for several years in senior energy solution roles for utility companies. He has worked for E.ON UK since 2017, with a focus on creating 'tomorrow's cities today'.
