Rock Pooling and Fossil Hunting Walk at Fort Victoria - 1 Mile

Join the Ranger at Fort Victoria to learn about the creatures that lived in the area millions of years ago, and search the beach to look for their fossilized remains.

Length of walk: 1 Mile (approx 1.5 hours)

Walk Cost: £3 each - please bring exact cash on the day.

Start / Finish location: Meet outside the Rangers' Office at Fort Victoria (next to the toilets), Fort Victoria, Westhill Lane, PO41 0RR, grid reference - 4339 0898.

Type of Walk: Circular

Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.

Walk grade: Easy - Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps.

Mobility level: Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
