This event is funded and hosted by the University of Edinburgh, and is a collaboration between the Business School and the School of Health in Social Science.

This half-day event will bring together practitioners working with care-experienced young people and those in money advice services to discuss what is, and can be done for this vulnerable group. Sharing knowledge and facilitating a discourse will enable us to take the next steps for future research activity.

The session will focus on three questions:

- What issues are there for care-experienced young people dealing with money management?

- What resources/support are currently available?

- What is needed to improve access to financial education for this group?

This event will contribute towards continued professional development (CPD).
