Will this course allow me to qualify as a counsellor?

No this is a supplementary course for those already qualified as a counsellor or currently in training as a counsellor and about to start in a domestic abuse counselling placement.

How long is the Foundation Course?

It takes place over 2 weeks on a Monday and Thursday, starting on the 10th June. Delegates will need to attend all four sessions.

Why do I need more training to work with domestic abuse?

The relational nature of domestic abuse can leave people who have experienced this with difficulties in trust and efficacy as well as complicated ways of relating to others and protecting themselves. This training will provide the tools and knowledge required to work effectively with such clients.

Why is this session free?
