About the speaker
David L'Herroux
Growing up in France in the Loire Valley, David was raised in a Christian family. David first came to Britain at the age of 17, and the only English word he really knew was ‘hello’. He had only planned to stay for two weeks, but over 50 years later, David remains in the UK working as the Chief Executive of UCB.
Starting as a cleaner in a retail store and slowly building a career based on biblical principles, David’s work eventually progressed into the boardroom as he became the head of the discount chain division for a well know British retailer in 1996.
David stepped out of the retail world in 1997 and, with his wife Jackie, founded Book of Hope in the UK, now called OneHope. His journey with United Christian Broadcasters began in 2004 as a member of the UCB Board of Trustees. In 2007, David became UCB’s Ministry Director and has now transitioned into the role of Chief Executive.
David’s heart is to see an unprecedented move of God, and through it, many lives being impacted by the power of God’s Word.
David is also regional Director for UCB Europe and serves on several boards, one being UCB International.
David is married to the lovely Jackie, and they have two grown children, Richard and Natalie. They are proud grand-parents with four beautiful grandchildren.
What is Foundation?
Leadership can be incredibly rewarding, but as most leaders know, it can also come with many challenges. If you're a leader in business, church, or your local community, UCB’s Foundation events are for you. They're designed to be a ‘spiritual oasis’, a time spent in the presence of God away from the busyness.
In the book of Nehemiah (the cupbearer to the king). Nehemiah was moved by the devastation of Jerusalem's ruined walls, and he felt called to rebuild them. Only with God's help was he able to devise a strategy that eventually saw the Lord's glory restored to this ancient city.
As leaders, we will all experience times when our walls feel broken or crumbling, and we need God to bring fresh revelation and rest to our spirits. Come and join us for prophetic worship, inspirational teaching, prayer, and networking - a place where you can rebuild, renew, and restore.
Foundation events are held in-person at UCB’s Operations Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, with a morning and afternoon session (with lunch in-between) and an opportunity to network with other leaders.
