This training session is specifically designed for leaders in children's homes and supported accommodation. It emphasises the importance of adopting a trauma-informed approach. By understanding the nuances of trauma and its effects, participants will be better equipped to create safe, supportive, and responsive environments for children and young people. Participants will gain practical tools and valuable insights to drive meaningful change.
Suzi is a dedicated teacher with 25 years of experience in the third sector, focusing on drug and alcohol addiction support and child sexual exploitation. She specialises in trauma-informed practices and well-being, empowering individuals to heal and thrive. As a yoga and breath body-mind instructor, Suzi infuses her workshops with transformative elements that promote resilience and self-discovery.
Delivery - The virtual classroom is hosted on Zoom. Participants need access to a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, a quiet and private space to join from, and to have made sure they can access Zoom. A certificate will be provided.
