Founders of Feminism - St. Pancras/ Somers Town
From radical writers to pioneers of women’s rights remarkable women who left their mark on St. Pancras.
This short walk fits into your luncthime and takes in the plaque of Mary Wollstonecraft, the earliest feminist and her daughter Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein.
This event is a FUNDRAISER by the Somers Town History Space for a 'People's Museum' - Radicals, Reformers & Rebels.
Professor Esther Leslie is kindly offering this walk as part of SOCIAL JUSTICE WALKS for the Think 'N Do Event for the local community.
We set off at 1pm sharp from the Ossuslton TRA Hall and ends there.
Walk at your own risk. Books available at the event. Free to locals: Donations welcome to support our aim of opening a museum.
