Frequently asked questions

Is there an age limit to attend the event?

There is no age limit but anyone aged 12 or older on the date of the signing (March 28, 2026) will require a ticket. Pushchairs/prams are permitted at this event.

I can no longer make the event, can I get a refund?

All sales are final - we do NOT offer refunds. This is because we are a non-profit event and every penny is accounted for. You are welcome to sell your ticket on to someone else and transfer the ticket over to them on Eventbrite's website.

I can't find my ticket, what do I do?

If you cannot find your ticket in your account, please email fourbritsbookfest@gmail.com with your name and any ticket holders' names for us to search for it and forward on to you

Do I need to bring a printed ticket to the event with me?

No, we can scan the eticket/QR code on your phones!

I am disabled, can I still attend?

Yes, there are steps to get you to the hotel and signing room but there are wheelchair platform lifts available. Please contact us at fourbritsbookfest@gmail.com if you have any questions!

I am disabled and have a ticket, can I bring a carer with me?

Yes! Your carer will require a ticket of their own if they're going to line up for authors on their own without you. If they are staying with you, they can attend for £6 (cost of a lanyard). Please email fourbritsbookfest@gmail.com for a link to their ticket (limited quantity)

Can I bring a cart with me?

Yes! Only the square carts (38cm x 38cm in size maximum) please.
