Four Day Learn to Ride Course

Cycle Confidence Training sessions take place over a four day period:
Tuesday 30th May 2017, 10:30 11:30 at Cringleford Primary School
Wednesday 31st May 2017, 10:30 11:30 Cringleford Primary School
Thursday 1st June 2017, 10:30 11:30 Cringleford Primary School
Friday 2nd June, 2017, 10:30 11:30 Cringleford Primary School
We make learning to ride easier and fun, teaching the essential skill of balance to develop greater confidence.
Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for cycling and weather conditions, and a drink.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the session?
We encourage sustainable and healthier travel wherever possible. If you have to drive, a car park is available.
What should I bring to the session?
Your bike, a helmet (optional) and a drink. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, sessions will continue in all but very extreme weather. Slip on footwear is not recommended.
What will I be doing in the training session?
We want to be able to cater for all levels, from beginner to those who want to be able to tackle roundabouts. Generally we will try to tailor the session to meet whatever it is that you would like to be more confident at.
Usually we will start with basic braking, balance and control, and how to use gears, and then progress to using roads.
On road training will start gently developing positioning and turning at junctions, and will progress to busier roads, traffic lights and roundabouts for those that want to.
