This four-week introductory course on Saturdays 8, 15, 22 and 29 November will give you opportunities to develop looking and drawing skills whilst observing the human form. Use line and tone to explore shape and form, and simple checking techniques to get to grips with scale, proportion and viewpoints. Each week we will work with a life model, use timed poses and a variety of different materials and techniques including pencil drawing, charcoal, ink and other suggested or self-directed approaches. An excellent starting point for observational drawing of any kind and for those wanting to develop their drawing/life-drawing practice.
Your tutor, artist Franca Westaway, will give whole group and one-to-one suggestions, advice and support.
