Fracking and Energy in the North West - Act with Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth's local group members and anyone interested in finding out more about taking action on Fracking, learning more about sustainable energy solutions and getting involved in taking action on environmental issues are invited to a day of networking, action planning and information sharing.
Hightlights so far:
- Meet other people across the region from Friends of the Earth and other local groups that are campaigning to stop fracking.
- Network with other groups and individuals in the area and come up with plans for taking action and stopping fracking in your area.
- Meet groups that are working to demonstrate sustainable alternatives to fracking.
- Hear and talk to experts from your communities and from Friends of the Earth's national office.
- Participate in sessions on everything from renewables energy myth busting, what fracking actually is and does, street theatre, and how to organise in your community.
We hope you can make it. We will provide some food, but if you could bring a dish it would be much appreaciated.
