This new course brings together the opportunity to repair a wide variety of commonly seen fractures using both plates (the world renowned SOP™ system) as well as external fixation (the new, dynamic KEFS® system).

Workshop Objectives:

  • To gain a strong understanding of the principles of fracture repair.
  • To familiarize yourself with various reduction and fracture fixation techniques, and their pros and cons for different fracture types and patients.
  • Successful implantation of various plating systems (DCP, LCP, LC-DCP) for a variety of fractures.
  • Successful application of an external skeletal fixation system (KEFS®) and plates (SOP™) on a variety of fractures
  • Includes the new NXP® Intramedullary Pin

  • Knowledgeable in preoperative planning and surgical approaches before starting the technique.
