Fracture Repair using internal & external fixation techniques
This new course brings together the opportunity to repair a wide variety of commonly seen fractures using both plates (the world renowned SOP™ system) as well as external fixation (the new, dynamic KEFS® system).
Workshop Objectives:
- To gain a strong understanding of the principles of fracture repair.
- To familiarize yourself with various reduction and fracture fixation techniques, and their pros and cons for different fracture types and patients.
- Successful implantation of various plating systems (DCP, LCP, LC-DCP) for a variety of fractures.
- Successful application of an external skeletal fixation system (KEFS®) and plates (SOP™) on a variety of fractures
- Includes the new NXP® Intramedullary Pin

- Knowledgeable in preoperative planning and surgical approaches before starting the technique.
- Skilled and confident in performing the SOP™ and KEFS® Ex-Fix techniques with successful patient outcome.
