Description

Fragments and Memories

Performances of new and contemporary music by composers and musicians from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Join us at the Asylum Chapel in Peckham for a world premiere of the site-specific chamber opera Years ago I died composed by Clare Elton in collaboration with writer Edward Einhorn. As well as music by Salvatore Sciarrino and Sofia Gubaidulina, there will be a performance of Rasmus Zwicki’s vocal work Fly little Birdy that explores fragmented childhood memories, and Sylvia Lim’s solo cello piece remnants, which provides a glimpse of the vast world that exists in one fleeting sound.

Monday 25th June 2018 | 7.30pm – 8.30pm
Doors open at 7.15pm

Free Entry (ticket required)
