About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

St Michael's Hospice (Hastings & Rother) is hosting a training session to explore frailty.

Fully funded by NHS Sussex, this session is open to all Sussex employees in health and social care.

If you are based outside of Sussex, a £50 charge applies.

Topics covered in the session include:

  • Why do we need to understand what frailty is?
  • How does it present and what can we do manage it.
  • Rockwood Scale as a tool to assess frailty.
  • How do we intervene as health professionals?

The session is available to medical staff, carers & anyone working in local care homes and social/health care to increase their understanding of frailty and its care.

Places are limited and booking is essential - we encourage early registration to secure your space.
