St Michael's Hospice is hosting a training session to explore frailty.
Fully funded by NHS Sussex, this session is open to all Sussex employees in health and social care.
If you are based outside of Sussex, a £50 charge applies.
Topics covered in the session include:
- Why do we need to understand what frailty is?
- How does it present and what can we do manage it.
- Rockwood Scale as a tool to assess frailty.
- How do we intervene as health professionals?
The session is available to medical staff, carers & anyone working in local care homes and social/health care to increase their understanding of frailty and its care.
