The frame basket is a lovely little harvesting basket.

It would have traditionally been woven from coppiced hedgerow materials, but we'll be using our own homegrown willow.

Beginning by making the frame, we'll then continue to weave with finer willow to create a circular basket with a curved base, ideal for harvesting, foraging or use within the home.

All tools and materials will be provided along with teas, coffee and cake, please bring packed lunch.

We'll be working at our smallholding, Abundant Earth, in our summerhouse, amidst the trees and the fields and looking over the valley.

There are steps up to the entrance so please let me know if you have any particular access requirements.

Accessibility is through our market garden, and the path is quite uneven. There are also 3 steps into the room where we will be working, please email me on jo.abundantearth@gmail.com if you have any concerns.

Our toilets are separate from the event space and are composting toilets, there are 2

Is there parking onsite?

We have a limited number of parking spaces, so we ask that you park at a nearby car park, unless you have access needs that would be supported by parking on site. Directions will be sent through with booking details.
