Event Details

Event no. 9 in our Postgraduate Research Training Programme

In this session, we will explore how to frame artistic practice within a PhD context. We will discuss the differences and blurred areas between art as professional practice and art as research and the difference between practice-based and practice-led inquiry. Using real life case studies, the session is intended for doctoral students working in any artistic/creative discipline, where such discipline is directly feeding into their research.

Session Lead: Dr Jacek Ludwig Scarso, Reader in Art and Performance
