Event description
Candlelit folk concert in the intimate Chapel of St Barnabas to welcome in the festive season.

About this Event

Franc Cinelli plays an intimate show at the Chapel of St Barnabas to help us break the cycle of homelessness. We're also lucky to have Wednesday's Wolves supporting Franc at this candlelit concert.

Join us for this very special evening!!

Franc Cinelli is touring nationwide in support of his new album 'Night Songs' (Song Circle Records).

Franc’s distinct rootsy indie folk has received effusive coverage from the likes of RNR, Classic Rock and Acoustic magazines, as well as Folk Radio UK who have rated him forthcoming Artist of the Month, while his songs have been played on BBC national and regional shows, including Dermot O’Leary, Janice Long and Roddy Hart.

"A road album evoking images of long distance car journeys through barren wastelands.” - Acoustic Magazine

Wednesday's Wolves are Chrissy Renker and Ysabelle Durant, a female contemporary folk duo from Oxfordshire. Their song "Off This Earth" was played on BBC Radio 1 by DJ Huw Stephens who went on to select it as his BBC Introducing Tip Of The Week. They were also invited to perform at BBC Music Introducing Hosts Amplify.

“…Chrissy and Ysabelle each have vocal textures reminiscent of a mix of Joan Baez and Natalie Merchant, and together are able to create some incedible harmonies” - Top Five Records

All proceeds will be used to support people affected by homelessness into lasting work.

Doors at 19:30 for a 20:00 start.

The life changing work of The House of St Barnabas wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations of those who enjoy our club. We ask for a suggested donation of £1 from attendees at our events to help support our Employment Preparation Programme; working together we can break the cycle of homelessness.

The House of St Barnabas is a charity whose vision is to create a future where lasting work is a reality for people affected by homelessness and social exclusion. Participants in our Employment Academy are given work placements throughout our not-for-profit members' club, enabling them to gain valuable work experience in a vibrant, inclusive and culturally driven space and City&Guilds awards in Hospitality or Business and Administration.
