Frances Tophill - There is no right or wrong in gardening
Come join us at Daisy Nook Garden Centre for an exciting talk by renowned horticulturist, author and Gardeners' World presenter Frances Tophill!
Our gardens are an extension of our homes and our personalities, and as such are as varied and individual as we are ourselves. Sometimes, it can feel a little overwhelming to follow the rules. And in gardening, you will find there are always a lot of rules. In this talk, Frances will explore the different ways of growing and being with land. She will explore how to enjoy and manage it in a way that feels right to you, helping to create a harmonious and happy relationship between people and their gardens. Exploring colours, plants, garden features, tidying, not tidying, mowing, not mowing, and all the other ways in which we create our own little paradises.
This in-person event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insights and tips from one of the UK's leading gardeners. Don't miss out on this chance to expand your gardening knowledge and mingle with fellow enthusiasts.
All proceeds from the event, excluding the online booking fee of £2.38, will be donated to local charity Petrus, helping to assist the great work they do to support homeless people in the local Oldham and Rochdale area.
