Event description
What would happen if you or your business suffered a serious security breach? How would you cope? Would your reputation be affected?

About this Event

Many businesses are still unprepared and provide hackers with a number of weak entry points to attack. Whether it’s a poorly protected IT network, a non-secure Wi-Fi hotspot, or untrained employees, they all provide opportunities for data breaches that could severely affect your business.

So what’s the good news?

DSC Chartered Accountants and NatWest Bank have joined forces with the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit to help you safeguard your business against fraudulent and criminal activity.

The presentation will be delivered by NatWest’s expert Commercial Fraud Analyst, Hannah Regan, and Lili Curtis, Protect Officer, at the Regional Cyber Crime Unit.

The agenda will include:

• Social Engineering

• Current Fraud Threats

• Malicious Software

• What you can do to help protect your business

Our free event will take place at 12 noon on Thursday 14th November at Keelham Farm Shop, Skipton. A light lunch will be available on arrival and we aim to finish by 2pm

To book your free place please register above or email Ellie on e.roach@dscca.com.

We will also be running this seminar at 8am on the same day at The DoubleTree by Hilton, Harrogate. Please click here to register for the Harrogate event.

We hope you will be able to join us for what will be a useful and interesting event.
