Can I park at the event?

Yes there is parking in the adjacent Civic Hall car park plus many further car parks in the town.  See  above for a list and map of Totnes parking.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes, please email me to let me know you have bought a ticket and I will make a space for your wheelchair. Email is  frazie@frazoo.co.uk

Is it suitable for under 5s?

Accepted Answer

No, as this is partly an education lecture with talking and a PowerPoint presentation. To ensure the enjoyment of over 5s and to keep the environment quiet and safe for the animals comfort it is not recommended for under 5s. Babes in arms are fine but please take them outside if they make any noise.

When do the doors open?

The doors open 30 mins before the show.

Are there toilets and hand washing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are toilets down the stairs at the back and wheelchair access toilets by the entrance door.

Are refreshments served?

Accepted Answer

No, but you can go out in the interval to the nearby cafes etc. Please bring plenty of drinks if it's a hot day.

Will I have a numbered seat?

Accepted Answer

It's unreserved seating. The seats will be arranged so Frazie and Phoebe can bring the animals all around the audience though.

Can I touch the animals?

In my school clubs and small group sessions we do lots of handling but, due to the number of people at the event, I'm sure you would agree it would be unkind to allow this. You will get very close though! My creepy-crawlies are so big you won't need a magnifying glass...

Question 10

Do the animals mind coming to the show?

Accepted Answer

An important question! The animals I bring to the show are placid and/or confident enough to cope well with it. Enough so even to show some natural behaviours. There are lots I wouldn't bring! Gentle, regular handling sessions at home ensure my animals don't see humans as predators.
