Dear Friends,
Jesus commanded us to "go and make disciples..." but how do we do it?
This one day taster course is helping Christians around the world to connect with people, share the gospel, train others, and gather disciples. If you want to reach others more effectively, this is for you.
THE WORKSHOP:
The training will involve informal Bible study and group work, set around tables. We will cover topics such as:
- God's vision for your town,
- How to share the gospel and handle various responses,
- How to begin discipling others,
We will also have a short time in small teams out in the community to practice praying for others and sharing the gospel. (If this terrifies you as much as it used to terrify us, please don't worry. We will have experienced people in each team. Please come prepared to learn from them, and have a go, and please bring outdoor clothes suitable for the weather.)
DATE, PLACE & TIMES:
We're excited to be running this event in Morecambe, at:
- Grace Ministries, 37 Yorkshire Street West, LA3 1QE
- Saturday 27th September, 2025
- Doors open from 9.30am and we aim to be finished by 5.30pm
- Be aware that most parking in Yorkshire Street West is limited/ restricted. Free street parking is available in nearby streets, such as Marine Road West, and Clarendon Road. Please respect any neighbouring driveways, access points, etc.
BOOKING & PRICES:
We would like this event to be accessible to everyone, so it is COMPLETELY FREE. To book your place, please select the correct number of tickets for yourself, or your group, at the checkout. A free will offering may be taken on the day to help cover costs.
FOOD & DRINK:
Refreshments will be provided during the day. Please bring a packed lunch and any additional snacks or drinks that you may require.
