Frequently asked questions

Is this online or in-person?

This is an in-person course lasting 4 weeks, please be prepared to attend at least 80% of duration in order to receive your certificate

Will I get my certificate straight away?

No, due to NCFE's structure, certificates can take a few weeks to be delivered after course work has been handed in and marked by one of our tutors

Do I need to bring my own laptop / equipment?

We encourage participants to bring in their own laptops, however we do have some on sight for lending daily. We also advice bringing in a note pad and pen to take notes.

Why do I need to pay £5 if the course is listed as free?

Due to the nature of our organization, the demand for free courses is high, and due to the large number of no-shows, this means other participants are not offered the opportunity. This will be refunded in full at the end of the course

What does it mean to "confirm my identity"

A Community Interest Company (CIC) needs to confirm participants' identities for free courses as a legal requirement for funding from our sponsors, which mandates identity verification through: Valid ID, Proof of address and NI number
