Spend some time outdoors with us at Bleach Green Allotments!

As part of the Pathfinder Project, these sessions are designed for disabled, neurodivergent and socially isolated adults who want to:

  • Enjoy fresh air and a relaxed outdoor space
  • Get hands‑on with gardening (at your own pace — no experience needed)
  • Connect with others while working on a friendly community project

Whether you’d like to plant, water, dig, or just have a cup of tea and a chat, you’re welcome to join in however you feel comfortable.

Free to attend. Weather permitting as its outdoors!

Is the allotment accessible for wheelchair users?

Partially - we do have areas which are accessible and you will be included!

Are their toilet facilities on site?

No - this is an allotment run by Gateshead Council and there are no facilities

Where do I park?

The allotments are on Content Street in Winlaton NE21 5HX and there is on street parking. There is no car park.

How do I find you?

Go down Content Street with the allotments on your right side. You will see a sign on the bottom gate please meet there.
