About us
Established in 1979, we are an experienced arts group and we have a range of members from beginner artists to more experienced. We pride ourselves in being a friendly and welcoming arts group where experience and support is always available.
About our members
Many of our members regularly commission their work and have also exhibited their work across the city of Liverpool. We have a variety of members of different experience and skill level from beginner, intermediate to more experienced. Members have many different skills and styles working across many mediums including: watercolour, acrylic, oil pastel, soft pastel, still life, coloured pencil and more.
What we can offer
We offer weekly sessions for self development. This is an opportunity for you to share experience with others and also develop your own skills and experience withing a supportive and encouraging group. We regularly offer throughout the year:
- Life drawing opportunities with a life model
- Still life sessions
- Workshops and demonstrations in: water colour, pastel, oils, portraits and others
- Entry into competitions including watercolour challenge and the chairmans cup competition.
- Opportunity to exhibit work locally.

What does my ticket cover?
This ticket entitles you to one free taster session with South Liverpool Arts Group on your chosen Monday evening.
Please note: one ticket per person for any session. This excludes planned workshops and demonstrations which will incur a charge.
