In-person at The Hepworth Wakefield in the learning studios
Monday 18th August, 2:30-4:30pm
Join celebrated Sheffield-based artist Kedisha Coakley for a hands-on creative session exploring sculpture, texture and legacy.
Drawing on childhood memories, ritualistic practices and overlooked cultural narratives, Kedisha reimagines everyday objects—transforming fruit, hair motifs, and botanical forms into sculptural specimens that reclaim identity and history.
In this workshop, participants will be invited to:
- Experiment with form, materiality and texture inspired by Kedisha’s techniques
- Engage in shared storytelling and reflection around personal objects or symbols
This session sits within Hospital Rooms’ co‑production approach in partnership with SWYFT NHS Trust, centring collaboration between artists, service users and communities.
