Description

PREPARE FOR PARENTING, NOT JUST FOR BIRTH.

This is a unique opportunity to receive the full science-based antenatal Babybrains workshops FOR FREE!

From pregnancy onwards, knowing about your baby's brain will enable you to interact with her in a more conscious, effective and pleasurable way, making the adventure of becoming a family one rich in joy and fulfillment.

Babybrains workshops are designed by a PhD Neuroscientist Mum-of-Three and endorsed by Prof Mark Johnson, the Head of Psychology Department at Cambridge University.

The curriculum includes the following topics:

DAY 1 (3 hours)
1) How to establish good family habits
2) How to deal with the feeling of manipulation
3) How to understand separation anxiety

DAY 2 (3 hours)
1) How to encourage language development
2) How to effectively motivate and discipline children
3) How to encourage healthy independence

Workshops are fun and interactive: learning naturally happens through experimentally-inspired games, exciting Aha! moments and engaging group exercises. At the end of the course, parents feel not only well informed, but also energised and inspired, ready to take on the most wonderful challenge of their lives: parenting their unique child.

This is also an opportunity for you to participate in science: Babybrains has partnered up with the University of Essex in a project called It All Starts in the Womb. We want to learn more about mothers' experience of pregnancy, birth and parenting, how it relates to their mental health and the to babies' development. In orther to collect data on these fascinating issues, Essex BabyLab will get in touch and send you a few online questionnaires to fill in (anonimously, of course!) before attending the course. It will take you 15 minutes. After attending the course and once the baby has arrived, you will receive some more online questonnaires to complete at five points in time during the first year with your baby.

Being 30-42 weeks pregnant and participating in the Essex Babyab research project
are the only requirements to have access to the FREE ticktes!

30 palces available on a first-come first-served basis until 6th November.

Here is what parents say about us:

INFORMATIVE AND INSPIRING!
What I really liked about the workshop delivered by Silvia from Babybrains was a clear set of guiding principles supported with strong proof points that were easy to remember and follow in the future!

BEST INVESTMENT SINCE I HAVE BECOME A MUM
It is so easy to make the wrong call when our little ones are upset because one can't think straight... This course has helped me lots, to avoid silly mistakes by just having clear (science based) advice. I am immensely grateful!

FIVE OUT OF FIVE!
Superb training that opened up my mind to the new world of a baby's brain. Fascinating material, very engaging and delivered with Silvia's obvious passion and love for children.
