Overview

Thanet District Council is running free 6 week courses to help people currently smoking or vaping learn other ways to reduce stress.

Thanet District Council are working in partnership with NHS ONE YOU and Active Kent and Medway to offer free 6 week wellbeing courses to people who are currently smoking or vaping to learn new ways to reduce stress and help them to feel more ready to quit.

We are running 2 pilot Beginners Bootcamp sessions with Dean Perry from OC Deans Fitness with Natasha Brown Health Improvement Offer supporting by offering activities for younger children during the session.

Children will be welcome to join in the exercises or play alongside the Bootcamp.

These sessions are to support any care givers that are smoking or vaping because of stress or any ex-smokers or vapers who need support to continue being smoke free. Non -Smokers and carers are also welcome as support for any participants.

Please let us know ages of any children you are bringing so that we can plan suitable activities.

Meet at the Blue Sports Container in Dane park and bring water and layered clothing. All ages and abilities welcome
